The lesser a judgement and reasoning a person can perform, the more irrational such person can get. 

A common misconception is emotion can cloud a person’s judgement, reasoning, and rationality.  It is true but sometimes other things can cause it as well.  Irrationality can happen when one is incapable of comprehension, conflict of what is already known and what the reality presents, conflict of “facts”, or have big issues with the person.

Irrational can happen to anyone regardless their background.  To reduce emotional irrationality can often be difficult (depends on individuals) but to reduce irrationality caused by other things can be somewhat easier.  Increase one’s judgement and wisdom will always help.
